Haiti, a cursed nation

After Haiti revolted against the French and the late 1800s, we put a trade embargo on them. We were scared that the slaves in our own country would revolt and we would have nothing to do with Haiti. Besides, make sure they stay oppressed. Many of a US hand has devastated their country. We set them up for failure, we brought our military in to get our money out after we were scared, they would default on their loan, we have supported horrible dictators. They have been through so many Corrupt leaders that they never had a chance. Now they are rampant gangs and very hard to get them under control. However, the new Prime Minister seems to be doing a better job than anyone else has added it. What a job that would be and how horrible it would be to have that job. When a country has had violence and devastation their whole lives, how can I get out of that?
